The executive on Thursday approved the cabinet restructuring bill proposing procedures to cut down the ministries’ number.
Under measure, introduced by Minister of Justice Artak Zeynalyan, the Armenian Government will have 17 ministries in its structure:
1. Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs
2. Ministry of Healthcare
3. Ministry of Justice
4. Ministry of Emergency Situations
5. Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport
6. Ministry of Foreign Affairs
7. Ministry of Environmental Protection
8. Ministry of Defense
9. Ministry of Territorial Administration and Reforms
10. Ministry of High Technological Industry
11. Ministry of Economy
12. Ministry of Finance
The Ministry of Diaspora will merge with the Staff of the Prime Minister which will have an Office for the Commissioner of Diaspora Affairs.
