Galan Trio, a famous Greek classical music band featuring Charalampos Karasavvidis (violin), Marina Kolovou (cello) and Petros Bouras (piano), will perform a concert in Yerevan, Armenia, next week as part of the Komitas Festival 2018.
The band will present music pieces by Komitas, as well as works by six composers from different countries.
Galan Trio will also perform a unique piece jointly composed by the six composers – David Haladjian, Vasco Pereira, Vincent Kennedy, Nikos Xanthoulis, Harald Weiss, and Thomas Bramel – titled “Six Sights to Ararat”.
The concert is slated for 18 October at the National Chamber Music Hall, Panorama.am reports, citing the Little Singers of Armenia’s Facebook post.
