Judge Serzh Rushanyan of the court of general jurisdiction of Armavir Province of Armenia has decided to preside over the trial of the “criminal case” against Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II and six bishops.
The next court hearing has been set for August 28, Armenian News-NEWS.am was informed by the Judicial Department.
This criminal case was initially assigned to the aforementioned court’s Judge Hakob Manukyan, who, however, recused himself at the first court hearing.
