Lebanese army serviceman Patrick Bekarian, who had been considered missing since April 19, 2026, has been killed. This is stated in a statement by the Lebanese Army’s press service.
It was later confirmed that he was killed as a result of fire by Israeli occupation forces at his car, after which they took his body. His remains were handed over on July 15, 2026, through the International Committee of the Red Cross. Bekarian was born in Lebanon on November 16, 2002.
He was conscripted into the Lebanese army on March 7, 2024. Bekarian received letters of appreciation from the army command several times.
