Europe Square unveiled in Yerevan

Europe Square was unveiled today in the heart of Armenia’s capital Yerevan in a ceremony attended by Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan and President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Liliane Maury Pasquier.
The Mayor handed the PACE President the decision of the Yerevan City Council on renaming the square.
The square is located in the center of the Northern Avenue. The opening of the square is dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Council of Europe.
