Why March to Justice?
Quite simply, to ensure a secure and peaceful future for the Armenian nation in a world without genocide.
The Armenian Genocide of 1915-23 destroyed millions of lives, emptied vast areas of the Armenian homeland – enriching and empowering its Turkish perpetrators while depriving its Armenian victims of core elements of their national existence and long-term viability.
There has been no justice for this crime. And, as a direct result, there has been no security for Armenia. No peace for the region. And no end to the worldwide cycle of genocide.
The Republic of Armenia is today the partitioned, landlocked, blockaded, and impoverished corner of the Armenian homeland that survived the death, destruction, and depopulation of the Armenian Genocide.
Turkey, today, a century after the start of the Genocide, remains unrepentant and unpunished. In fact, Ankara unapologetically continues to harvest the fruits of its crime – denying the truth of its atrocities, obstructing the justice it owes the Armenian people, and threatening the security of the nation it nearly destroyed.
In 1915, Armenians were forced to march in order to endure the horrors of genocide
Today, Armenians march again, to secure the justice required for survival.
Because justice is vital to Armenia’s survival.
A just resolution of the Armenian Genocide is required to repair the damage of an unpunished crime, to restore a nation nearly annihilated by genocide, and to ensure Armenia’s long-term viability.
Join us in our March:
To Protect Armenia
To Promote regional peace
To Prevent future genocides
To Justice for the Armenian nation
