Western Diocese of the Armenian Church of North America.It is with great spiritual joy that we announce the ordination of Deacon Mkrtich Ksachikyan into the Holy Priesthood in the Armenian Apostolic Church.
Deacon Ksachikyan’s Calling Service will take place on Friday, January 23, 2015 at 7 p.m. at St. Peter Armenian Church in Van Nuys (17231 Sherman Way, Van Nuys, CA 91406). A Reception at the Karagozian Hall will be held following the Calling Service. Admission is free.
The Ordination Rite will take place on Sunday, January 25 2015 at St. Leon Armenian Cathedral (3325 N. Glenoaks Blvd., Burbank, CA 91504) during the celebration of the Divine Liturgy starting at 10:30 a.m.
Deacon Ksachikyan’s Godfathers will be Mr. and Mrs. Antranik and Virginia Zorayan, Benefactors of the Western Diocese. The Khachadourian Choir, under the conductorship of Dn. Stepan Gozumian will participate in the aforementioned services.
The Ordination Rite will be followed by a luncheon reception at the Nazareth and Sima Kalaydjian Hall of the Western Diocese. Admission is $60 per person.
