Dear Friend, Supported by a remarkably diverse wave of activism by millions of our fellow Americans from across the U.S. political spectrum, the Armenian American community has done our part to help turn the tide (at least for now) against a U.S. attack on Syria. We know that military attacks would only make a bad situation worse, visiting additional suffering upon Armenians, Christians and all Syrians, and risking an even deeper and more severe crisis for Syria and the entire region. We’ve gotten traction and are making progress.
But, if you saw President Obama’s speech, you know that those calling for war – both inside and outside of our government – are still pressing hard.
That’s why I’m asking you to speak out for common-sense diplomatic solutions.
Take a moment, right now, to send this new, updated ANCA WebMail to Congress, opposing war and supporting diplomacy as the path toward peace. Simply type in your name, address and email and click “Send Message.”
More than ever, it’s vital for the ANCA to hear from you, so please share your thoughts by writing to firstname.lastname@example.org or by engaging with us on social media.
