Camp Nubar Turns 50
Archbishop Khajag Barsamian, Diocesan Primate, will visit AGBU Camp Nubar on Sunday, July 28, as the camp celebrates its 50th anniversary. Archbishop Barsamian will bless the camp in a special ceremony, with campers, staff, and guests participating. The Primate also will preside over the re-dedication and blessing of the camp’s Lake Arax.
Archbishop Barsamian visits Camp Nubar annually to pray with campers and to encourage their continued participation in Armenian community life. The camp is located in the Catskill Mountains of upstate New York, near the town of Andes. To learn more, visit its website at www.campnubar.org.
