Having welcomed the invitation of the Primate, on June 20, 2011, Archpriest Fr. Manoug Markarian, Pastor of St. John Garabed Armenian Church in Hollywood led a group of dedicated faithful on a pilgrimage to St. Leon Armenian Cathedral in Burbank.
Welcomed by Rev. Fr. Khajag Shahbazyan, Pastor of St. Leon Armenian Cathedral, the group toured the spiritual center of the Western Diocese. The inspired pilgrims heard the Primate’s spiritual message and took part in a special prayer service. The group was treated to a reception in the Hampar Reception Room of the Western Diocese.
Archpriest Fr. Manoug Markarian expressed his gratitude to the Primate for the warm welcome, the enlightening message and the delightful reception. The group parted the Western Diocese with uplifted spirits.
