Vladimir Hakobyan continues to succeed in the international chess tournament in Gibraltar. In the seventh round he beat Milos Pavlovic. At present Hakobyan has 5.5 points and occupies the 3rd place.
Michael Adams who occupies the 2nd place also has 5.5points but has a higher reputation than that of Hakobyan. The list is topped by Ivan Sokolov. The latter has 6 points.
In the 8th round Hakobyan will play with Sokolov.
