Yerevan, October 24. ArmInfo. The 4th International Economic Forum “Bridge 2007” will take place in the resort town of Tsakhkadzor, Armenia, from February 16 to 19 2007.
The organization committee told ArmInfo that businessmen from remote and near foreign states, employees of ministries, official departments, chambers of commerce and industry, branch unions and associations of the Forum member-states will participate in the event. The Forum will be on the topic “Economic integration in conditions of globalization. ” Discussions to be held at the Forum will touch upon such topics as “Prospects of the development of international cooperation in the sphere of transport and logistics,” “Competitiveness of companies and products in European and world markets,” “IT in economy: from e- document to e-country,” “The situation and prospects of development of agri- industrial complex,” “Latest trends in construction and realty market,” “Banks and insurance companies: partnership and business.”
In addition, the Third Annual Media Conference “Economy of Armenia in the Eyes of Mass Media” will be held in the course of the Forum. The Forum aims to inform businessmen and political circles of the West and the East of Armenia’s economic potential as well as to organize informal discussions on key political and economic problems. In the course of the Forum, working expert groups will be formed, which will study urgent regional and national problems. “Bridge 2007” will take place with the official support of the Armenian Ministry of Trade and Economic Development, the Foreign Ministry, Central Bank and the Union of Manufacturers and Entrepreneurs (employers).
