The Artisan Food Inc. has been started by young Armenian entrepreneurs, Lilit Hakobian and Samvel Shahbazian, seeking to reinvent the indigenous recipes of homemade fruits and vegetables and deliver it to people searching for healthy foods. The philosophy of the company is to introduce specialty healthy, natural food products from Armenia, those that are really a blend of the ancient and the modern, made in the best of artisan traditions, using local ingredients combined with modern technology and packaging.

The Artisan Food Inc. is specializing in import and export of specialty gourmet food products. Company’s products are made using indigenous recipes and are 100% natural and low in calories. They are free of artificial additives and preservatives.

The fruits used for the production are grown in the best of artisan traditions on family owned farms or harvested in wild orchards, on land free of chemicals. They are watered by mountain spring water, and harvested only when ripened naturally by the sun. Each fruit is processed individually, by hand. Only the finest fruits are selected for The Artisan Food Inc. products. The production of 0.5 kg specialty preserve, from orchard to jar, requires 7 hours of hand made work
