Yerevan, June 27. ArmInfo. Armenian President Robert Kocharyan met today with five-time IBF and four-time IBO flyweight world champion Vic Darchinyan who lives in Australia but appears on ring to the music of Armenian composer Ara Gevorgyan and with the national flag of Armenia.
Kocharyan wished Darchinyan further success. He noted that every new victory of Darchinyan inspires the Armenian people.
Darchinyan told Kocharyan about his further plans. He said that he is going to set up a boxing club in Vanadzor for preserving the wonderful traditions of the Armenian boxing school so that it can give birth to new world stars
