Evda Abramov hopes that the necessary facts will be disclosed
Owing to research of the Director of the Institute of Human Rights at Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Political Sciences Rovshan Mustafayev, curious facts relating Jewish genocide committed by Armenians have been disclosed. Cruelty of Armenians committed genocide against Azerbaijanis in early XX century, did not avoid Jews. Armenian cruelty resulted to the death of several thousands of Jews.
Evda Abramov, Jewish by-birth, MP, informed that these facts had been already disseminated in a number of countries, including Russia. According to him, research aiming at disclosing more facts will go on. E. Abramov hopes that personnel of the archives and the Institute of Human Rights will do all their best for disclosing of these facts. MP informed that some documents early kept in archives had been stolen and annihilated by Armenians. According to him, in this point Shaumian’s son played an important role: “Every time arrived in Baku this man eliminated documents in which his father was reminded, because Shaumian and Hamazasp were blame to all tragedies took place in Azerbaijan in early XX century”.
According to E. Abramov, citing these facts he does not intend to require compensation or to give political shade to this matter. He said that he desires to disclose truth and bring to the notice of young generation. According to MP, besides Azerbaijanis, Jews also were subjected to genocide. E. Abramov informed that 15-16 May World Jewish Congress will be held in Baku: “The outstanding figures will attend it. One of these persons will meet with the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev during his trip to US. At the Congress we’ll disclose the facts of tragedy held in early XX. Let everybody knows truth of tragic events occurred in Azerbaijan”.
