The first public showing of the documentary «The Armenian Genocide» took place in the library of the US Congress several days ago. The showing was organized on the initiative of Congressman Adam Shiff.
Before the showing a reception took place during which Congressmen Adam Shiff, Frank Pelown and Rush Holt made speech. Later on Tatoul Margaryan, the Armenian Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the USA thanked Adam Shiff for the initiative, as well as Andy Goldberg, author of the film.
The one-hour documentary «The Armenian Genocide» will be shown in the while territory of the USA on April 17 by the TV Channel PBS.
