Turkey will not open its frontier with Armenia without Azerbaijan’s consent to it

“Igdyr always will be near Azerbaijan. In case, the situation contradicts to Azeri interests, that is out of question to discuss opening of frontier with Armenia,” stated municipality’s head of Turkish Igdyr vilayet, situated near frontier with Armenia, Naraddin Aras, informs PanARMENIAN.NET web site.

“Our position concerning the question is the same as ten years ago. But now, Azerbaijani territories are occupied. 1 million of Azerbaijanis are refugees. While Armenia marks on map 11 Turkish regions as its territory, stakes territorial claim in its constitution, propagandizes among its youth to struggle for the territories, we may not absolutely agree with opening of the Armenian frontiers,” said he.

“Only after achievement of agreements, corresponding to Azerbaijan interests, we may consider opening of frontiers,” stressed the head of Igdyr municipality.
