Armenian Great Master Levon Aronian won a victory over Azeri Teimour

Rajabov in the first stage of the Chess Tournament in Linares city,

Spain. To remind, in the near past the winner of World Cup Aronian

won a victory over another Azeri representative Shahriar Mamedyarov.
The participants of the tournament were Vesselin Topalov (Bulgaria),

Peter Swidler (Russia), Levon Aronian (Armenia), Peter Leko (Hungary),

Vasili Ivanchuk (the Ukraine), Etien Bacro (France), Teymour Rajabov

(Azerbaijan) and Francisco Valiejo (Spain).
