Government of Turkey counts impossible consideration of the offer of Yerevan on transportation without any charges on the Kars-Gumri railroad through territory of Armenia of the cargoes belonging to Georgia and Turkey.
The Secretary General of National Security Service of Turkey Yigit Alpdogan has noted, that Armenia has not given the positive answer to the offer of Turkey about creation of the commission in structure of historians in connection with the so-called genocide, and therefore, consideration of any offer of this country is inexpedient. As he said, the given offer can be discussed in case if president Robert Kocharian up to the end of April will answer a number of the requirements put by Turkey in front of Armenia, including on conditions to refuse territorial claims to Turkey and Azerbaijan and to show a constructive position on Southern Caucasus.
Mr. Yigit Alpdogan having noted, that Turkey attentively and in details watches the negotiations directed on settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabakh conflict, informed, that his country carries out consultations with the USA government in connection with conflicts on Southern Caucasus.
The statement of Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Vardan Oskanian that in case of billeting of peacemaking forces in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone, Yerevan will not give the consent to participation of Turkish armies in structure of the given forces, was assessed as that Armenians take a destructive position concerning Turkey.
