YEREVAN, JANUARY 24. ARMINFO. Armenian Defence Minister and National Security Secretary Serzh Sargsyan calls untimely the conclusions that Armenia must revise its military partnership with Russia because of the rise in the Russian gas price.
In an interview to Golos Armenii Sargsyan says that Armenia and Russia are tied with thousands of threads. The raise in the gas price has given rise to many questions and certain anxiety but the answers will come in due time.
The raise cannot be a reason for Armenia to revise its agreement on hosting a Russian military base in its territory. In the last years Armenia has intensified its cooperation with NATO but this has nothing to do with the situation with the Russian gas, says Sargsyan.
