YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 17, ARMENPRESS: Armenia’s nuclear power plant’s reactor and one turbine began electricity generation on November 15 after the end of a planned repair and refueling.
Plant’s director Gagik Markosian said the second turbine will be connected to the power grid on November 25. The plant was brought to a halt for refueling and repair on October 1. This year it is expected to produce 2.5 billion kilowatt/hours of electricity.
