44 POLLING STATIONS TO BE OPENED ABROAD FOR 6,800 ARMENIAN CITIZENS NOV 27

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 16. ARMINFO. 44 polling stations will be opened abroad for 6,800 Armenian citizens to be able to vote on the constitutional reforms Nov 27, reports the Central Electoral Commission of Armenia.

The polling stations will be opened in all Armenia’s embassies and consulates abroad. In Moscow, Rostov-on-Don (Russia) and Los Angeles there will be more than 1 polling stations. In Russia alone there will be 12 polling stations in 9 cities.

Eligible to vote are only those Armenian citizens abroad who have got registered in Armenia’s diplomatic missions beforehand. That’s why voting will be only 6,800 people while independent experts say that living abroad legally or illegally are over 500,000 Armenian citizens.
