YEREVAN, JUNE 3, ARMENPRESS: The first aircraft from Germany’s Munich to Yerevan, operated by Lufthansa, arrived in Yerevan on June 2. Earlier the carrier announced, on the occasion of launching scheduled flights between Yerevan and Munich, special prices for flights from Armenian capital to European, North American and African destinations.
It said as of June 3, 2005, within the framework of the special offer, passengers from Yerevan can fly to any German city – Munich, Berlin, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Cologne, Dresden etc. – for $299, to any European city – Amsterdam, London, Brussels, Rome, Madrid, Milan etc. – for $349 and to North American and African destinations for $599. Special offer tickets are valid as of June 3, 2005 until October 24, 2005. Sales period is until June 30, 2005.
Now passengers can benefit from three weekly flights between Yerevan and Munich on board of modern and comfortable Airbus A319/320 aircraft family The flights will depart from Munich at 21:10 on Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays with arrival in Yerevan at 03:55 on the following day. The airline will operate flights from Yerevan to Munich on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays with departure time at 04:50 and arrival time at 06:00 Lufthansa has also invited its passengers to register for Miles & More scheme, that will grant a bonus of 2,000 miles as soon as a registered member has clocked up 3,000 miles before the end of the year. Miles can be collected also from the company’s network of partners (hotels, car hire companies, German railways, telephone companies, financial service companies and many more).
