PARIS, APRIL 22. ARMINFO. Today at 6:00 p.m. Paris time, Presidents of Armenia and France Robert Kocharyan and Jacques Chirac will meet in Paris.
In the course of their 1.5-hour-long meeting, the two leaders will discuss the whole spectrum of Armenian-French relations and the peaceful settlement of the Karabakh conflict under OSCE MG. Then, the sides will lay wreaths on the Monument for the Armenian Composer Komitas in the center of Paris.
To note, yesterday, Robert Kocharyan, who was on a working visit to France, met with Speaker of the French National Assembly Jean Louis Debre and Chairman of Senate Christian Ponsle. The issue of bilateral relations was discussed. They touched upon the issue of organization of events within the framework of the Year of Armenia in France in 2006. Robert Kocharyan stated that those events were a perfect opportunity to present the rich Armenian culture to France. Tomorrow, Armenian and French leaders will meet. Robert Kocharyan meet with Chanson Charles Aznavour as well.
