YEREVAN, APRIL 15. ARMINFO. The Prosecutor Genera’s Office of Armenia and the National Security Service (NSS) are wanting the suspect in the attempt on the life of Chairman of the Customs Committee of Armenia (CCA). The suspects is supposed to be a handsome man at the age of 55-60.
The joint statement of the PSO and NSS made on April 14 says that the suspect is an elegant grey-headed man with a round face, with an appearance of an office employee or a retired military. The state promises $100,000 and confidentiality for valuable information about the suspect or his accomplices. The source of financing is not specified. To note, on March 24 2005, an explosion in the center of Yerevan damaged the official car of CCA Head, BMW 745 with the state number plate 025 LL 55. A criminal case has been initiated, but the article of the Criminal Code is not known yet.
