YEREVAN (YERKIR) – Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will start a two-day official visit to Armenia on February 16.
The Russian minister is to meet with the Armenian leadership to discuss issues related to the Russian-Armenian strategic partnership. The cooperation between the two countries on the international arena as well as the CIS activities and the reforming of the CIS bodies will also be discussed.
A special focus will be made on the settlement of the Karabakh conflict and the creation of an atmosphere of understanding in the South Caucasus. Also will be discussed Russian President Putin’s upcoming visit to Armenia.
