YEREVAN, JANUARY 4, ARMENPRESS: Armenian trade and economic development minister Karen Chshmaritian said December 30 the government has earmarked money for opening three offices in Brussels, Washington and World Trade Organization ‘to promote Armenia’s economic policy and advertise investments in its economy and defend also the interests of Armenian companies which deal with overseas partners, should they have problems.”
The minister said also another priority next year will be establishment of free trade zone with Lebanon. A relevant agreement is supposed to be signed next year. Chshmaritian said Armenia signed such agreements with 9 CIS member countries, except Georgia and Uzbekistan. Talks are also underway with Iran to sign a free trade zone agreement.
