Best Bank of Year in Armenia
Converse bank, one of the largest banks of Armenia, celebrates its tenth anniversary. It was established in 1994 and had only three employees and capital of $100000 then. At present, the capital of the bank amounts to $10 million, while it has over 250 employees. Certainly, these are not the only criteria fixing the progress of the bank, but they testify to the development of the bank during the recent ten years, as well as to its achievements. In 2003 Converse bank was awarded “Breken” prize and was recognized the best bank of Armenia by The Banker magazine, belonging to Financial Times corporation during “Year’s Bank” annual award. This prize is given, taking into account the recent results of the bank’s activities, as well as qualitative achievements.
