YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 22. ARMINFO. The report made by PACE Rapporteur on Nagorny Karabakh Terry Davis is un acceptable for Armenia, RA Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanyan told a press conference.
According to him, the report contained subjective assessments and “one’s points of view.” “It cannot be agreed with, and it presents the wrong picture,” Oskanyan said. He pointed out that the report has no status, the more so that the newly appointed Rapporteur David Atkinson is to prepare his own report as well. As regards possible concern over the fact that the newly appointed Rapporteur, too, is a representative of Great Britain, which is known for its conservative approach to the Nagorny Karabakh problem, Oskanyan pointed out that irrespective of whether the report will be based on the previous one or not, the new Rapporteur needs working with for his report not to reflect one person’s point of view alone and not to affect the Nagorno-Karabakh settlement process.
