NEVSEHIR – Fener Greek Orthodox Patriarch Bartholomew would lead the spring mass to be held in Mustafapasa hamlet in Urgup town of central Nevsehir province, Mustafapasa Mayor Mustafa Ozer said on Tuesday.
Ozer noted that the traditional rite of spring would be held as a part of the Third Mustafapasa Culture and Arts Festival which aimed to promote cultural and historical heritage of the hamlet.
Bartholomew would lead the traditional spring mass which would take place in Aios Constantin Eleni Church on May 21 and which would bring together Greek origin Turkish citizens and Greeks, Ozer stated.
Ozer added that many scientists and writers would issue a statement in a panel discussion to be held as a part of the traditional spring rite.
