Under the guise of the demands of the US and the EU Turkish Prime Minister Recep Erdogan intends to open the border with Armenia, chairman of the protection committee of the National Movement of South Azerbaijan Jahandar Bayroglu told journalists, Zerkalo Baku newspaper reported. In his words, cooperation with such a politician as Erdogan can lead to Azerbaijan losing Nagorno Karabakh. The Turkish Prime Minister is ready to sacrifice the interests of Azerbaijan and North Cyprus at any moment, Bayroglu considers. He cited the instance of the situation with North Cyprus, when the policy pursued by Erdogan compelled Ilham Aliyev to make a statement on recognition of the Turkish part of the isle, however “the referendum showed that Baku is not going to recognize the independence of North Cyprus yet.”
