arminfo: OPPOSITION DOES NOT INTEND TO LEAVE TERRITORY OF FREEDOM SQUARE `TILL FINAL VICTORY´

YEREVAN, APRIL 9. ARMINFO. The opposition does not intend to leave the territory of the Freedom square of Yerevan “till the final victory”.

During the rally, organized by the opposition bloc Justice and the party National Unity, the Leader of the party “Republic”, deputy of Armenian parliament Aram Sargsian informed that the active members and allies of the opposition begin a termless sit-down strike since today. A new information will be provided every day at 12.00 p.m., and the regular rally will be held at 6.00 p.m. until the President of Armenia Robert Kocharian resigns.

During the meeting the Leader of the party “National Unity”, the deputy of the National Assembly of Armenia Artashes Geghamian also had a speech during the rally. During his speech Geghamian severely criticized the external and internal policy of the incumbent president of Armenia.
