Imam Komeini Relief Committee of the Islamic Republic of Iran dispatched a humanitarian aid to Azerbaijani families displaced from their homelands because of Armenian aggression.
The humanitarian cargo – 100 tons of rice, 67 tons of butter, 20 tons of sugar, 12 tons of tea etc – was given to Committee representatives at the Azadlig square.
Deputy ambassador of Iran to Azerbaijan Mohammad Rza Rashid and director general of Azerbaijan bureau of the Imam Khomeini Relief Committee Bahram Kazimzadeh responded the questions of media.
The humanitarian organization has functioned for 11 years in Azerbaijan sponsoring 40 thousand poor families temporarily settled in 19 provinces of Azerbaijan.
