armenpress: TEXTBOOKS PREPARED FOR ARMENIAN SCHOOLS IN RUSSIA, IRAN

YEREVAN, MARCH 4, ARMENPRESS: A textbook on Armenian history, intended for Armenian schools in Russia has been developed and printed by Armenian education and science ministry. The Russian language textbook was authored by assistant professor Armen Khachikian.
The ministry said the textbook was published in 5,000 copies, which are going to be sent soon to Russia. According to the ministry, there are 23 Armenian schools in Russia, of which 19 are secondary schools and the rest operate on Sundays only giving classes on history, language and culture. The overall number of students in these schools is 6,400.
