armenpress: ARMENIA TO DOUBLE ELECTRICITY IMPORTS TO GEORGIA GIVEN DUE PAYMENTS

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 23, ARMENPRESS: The Yerevan office of the German KFW bank said the government of Georgia has decided to spend the 12 million euros allocated by Germany for purchase of electricity and natural gas. A representative of the office said this money will last until the end of March.

Almost 60 percent of 12 million euros is given to Georgian energy distributing company (UDC), and the 40 percent to Telasi company, which import electricity from Russia and Armenia.
