YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 9. ARMINFO. The British Government and a number of charitable organizations, including Bill Gates Board of Trustees, provide research grants to Armenian students in order that they could receive Academic and Scientific degrees at the best higher-educational establishments of Britain, British Council Armenia Director Roger Budd told ARMINFO.

British Council supports the project of distance training of the persons interested in receiving scientific degrees at the best higher educational establishments of Britain. In this connection British Council Office in Armenia provides on-line resources. British Council offers research grants for education with the object of attracting Armenians students to distance types of education, as it is considered very effective and economical today, Mr. Budd said.
