YEREVAN, DECEMBER 15. ARMINFO. A concert dedicated to the great Armenian composer Aram Khachatryan’s centennial was held in the town of Tobolsk, Russia, the concert’s initiator, Deputy of the Youth Parliament of Tobolsk Hakob Asloyan told ARMINFO.
He said that city music collectives performed the composer’s works. Representatives of the city administration, deputies of the city Duma and the local Armenian community attended the concert. “The concert was held in a warm atmosphere. The public was especially delighted with the group of bayan-players who performed the ‘Dance of A Greek Slave’ from the ballet ‘Spartak’ by Aram Khachatryan,” Asloyan said.
