In the third round of the European Chess championship in Bulgaria’s city of Plovdiv Armenian women’s team defeated the Israelis by 1.5 -0.5, emerging in the fourth position with 4.5 points, Armenpress reports.
Elina Danielian defeated international gross master Masha Klinova, and Nelly Aghinian shared her point with Irina Botvinnik. The next win was over Moldavia by 2-0 and now with 6.5 points Armenians are leading. Second comes the team of Russia.
