Turkey wishes to improve its relations with Armenia, as Turkish president Ahmed Sezer stated in Ankara. At the same time he noted that “for achieving the objective Armenia should pursue its external policy in accordance with the principles of the jus gentium and solve the problems with its neighbors”. Sezer considers that Armenia should “show resignation to its past and let historians discuss History”. As reported by Mediamax agency according to the words of the Turkish leader, the improvement of Armenian-Turkish relations will contribute to stability and prosperity of the South Caucasus.
