YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 19. ARMINFO. In the spring of 2004, the 6th International Contest “Miss Tourism of the Globe” will be held in Armenia, Chairman and Promoter of the agency “Miss Student” in Armenia Arman Antonyan told journalists.
He said that during the last contest in Saint Petersburg, Armenia’s representative, 19-year-old Lusine Sahakyan from Vanadzor, won the title of the first vice-miss among 28 girls from 26 countries, and was given the Prize of the Audience Sympathy in the nomination “Best Voice and Best Song.” Arman Antonyan said that the international contest’s holding in Armenia, wherein representatives from 40 countries will participate, will give the country a brilliant opportunity to strengthen its cultural ties with the countries on the international tourism market.-
