Reminder: Armenia Diaspora Economic Forum to Be Held in September
Per proposals put forth at the Second Armenia Diaspora Conference, the
Government of Armenia is hosting a Pan-Armenian Economic Forum on September
22-24, 2003, to bring together Armenian entrepreneurs from Armenia and
Diaspora. The purpose of the Economic Forum is to discuss further ways to
improve in Armenia’s business and investment environment and increase
collaboration between the commercial and economic entities in Armenia and
Diaspora.
The ultimate goal of the Forum, as expressed in the decisions of two Armenia
Diaspora Conferences held in Yerevan in 1999 and 2002, is to promote the
economic prosperity of the Homeland. The Embassy of Armenia invites
Armenian-American entrepreuners and interested parties to attend the Forum
to bring their valuable perspectives to the discussions on the Armenian
economy and business environment, Armenia’s trade prospects and export
potential.
