YEREVAN, AUGUST 11. ARMINFO. The reason of the murder of three soldiers in Armenia was $50 US dollars. It should be noted that the soldiers of a military unit in the Armenian town of Vanadzor were killed in the place on August 6. Military Prosecutor of Armenia, Gagik Jhangiryan, told journalists Saturday that the investigation showed that the three were killed by their fellow-soldiers. The first suspect is the soldiers on duty in the unit, Arman Hovsepyan, who was arrested on the next day after the crime. The second one, Emil Chifchyan, was arrested a day later. The investigation showed that Chifchyan applied to one of the killed soldiers several days before the murder, asking for a leave and proposed $50 as a bribery. However, Chifchyan’s request was rejected, and the sum was not returned to him. As a result of disputes, early in the morning on Wednesday, Chifchyan and Hovsepyan, who had a previous conviction, opened an automatic fire at the three soldiers. Gagik Jhangiryan said that the arrestees pled guilty.
