(AP) – The Armenian military prosecutor said Saturday that a second soldier has been arrested in the killing of three others, who were shot to death at a warehouse.
Prosecutor Gagik Jahangirian said the killings on Wednesday apparently stemmed from one of the arrested soldiers paying one of the victims $50 to arrange a leave. When the leave was not forthcoming, the soldier who had paid the money and another barged into the room where the soldier who had received the money and two others were sleeping, and shot them to death after an argument, the prosecutor said.
The killings occurred at a military warehouse in the northern town of Vanadzor.
