armenpress: WORLD BANK HEADQUARTERS TO HOST MAJOR ECONOMIC CONFERENCE ON ARMENIA

YEREVAN, AUGUST 7, ARMENPRESS: The International Group for Armenian Economic Studies has announced that it will hold the second annual International Conference on January 17-17, 2004 in Washington at the headquarters of World Bank.
The Conference, entitled “Armenia: Issues on Sustainable Development,” will explore issues pertaining to economic growth, poverty reduction, banking and finances, social sector reforms, the role of the Diaspora, trade, infrastructures and regional cooperation.
