Georgian president Eduard Shevarnadze notes the necessity of developing “even” relations as with the US and West as with Russia. As reported by RIA “Novosti”, he told about it in his traditional radio interview. In his words, the present conception is being realized in different ways in various spheres. For example, along with the projects of the Great Silk Road following the route of east-west, north-south directions are being developed. “I suppose cooperation with “Gasprom” and “UES of Russia” JSC as well as Moscow-Tbilisi-Yerevan transport axle”, – E. Shevarnadze said. At the same time he noted that some new projects such as return of the Georgian refugees to the Gali region of Abkhazia and reconstruction of Sochi-Tbilisi railway will be added to the existing ones.
