YEREVAN, AUGUST 4, ARMENPRESS: Armenian transport and communication minister Andranik Manukian claimed last Saturday that Turkish-Georgian plans to open a railway stretching from Turkish city of Kars to Georgian Akhalkalaki would fail, as construction of a new railway would require huge investments, which none of them could afford now. He also said that construction of a new railway would become inexpedient if a railway connecting Kars with Armenian Gyumri opens.
