groong: Armenia ready to put railway to Turkey into operation

Yerevan, 2 August: The Armenian side is ready to put into operation
the railway between Megri Armenia and Kars Turkey , which will link
Armenia with Turkey, Armenian Minister of Transport and Communications Andranik Manukyan told journalists today.

He said that the Turkish side was also carrying out work to put into
operation its own railway with Armenia. Only the political decision
remains to be made by Turkey to open the border between the two
countries, the minister said.
