25-year-old Tigran Sarkisian, a graduate of Yerevan Economy Institute, was elected member of New York International Sciences Academy. Tigran Sarkisian has authored creation of a special, low cost effective substance for coating semi-conductors. Some US-based companies have already asked permission to use the patented substance.
Tigran believes that Armenian economy development rate could be invigorated through alternative energy sources. He together with his father, uncle and a cousin built the first energy reactor working on biogas in the village of Gulagarak, Lori province. They were also asked by the head of Ajaria, an autonomy in Georgia, to build such a reactor there. He also cooperated with US Sarwind and Macro companies dealing with wind energy.
Tigran also believes that fish hatcheries could become one of the main factors to resolve food program. He built the first artificial lake in Lori years ago to raise fish.
