YEREVAN, JULY 31, ARMENPRESS: Some 3,000 Armenian athletes have confirmed their participation in the third-pan-Armenian athletic games, of which 1,300 will come from tens of countries with strong Armenian communities.
Armenian officials say the main goal of the Games is not setting records, as the overwhelming majority of participants are amateurs, but to help Armenian youths from Armenian proper and Diaspora to establish closer contacts.
