Yerevan, June 27 (Noyan Tapan). One hundred and fourteen candidates for gold medal from the schools of Armenia became medalists after taking two examinations in the Armenian language and mathematics by the centralized order and the other four examinations at their schools, the Ministry of Education and Science of Armenia told Noyan Tapan. As compared with last year (144), their number decreased by 30.
The medalists will be enrolled in higher educational institutions within state order, if they get 19 or 20 scores for the first written examination for the first specialty they have applied for, which is not the same examination that they have taken by the centralized order. In case the medalists get lower scores, they will take the rest of the examinations on general bases.
